Ms. Ting Thien Ngiik

Ms. Ting Thien Ngiik graduated from the University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom holding an honors degree in law (LLB Hons) in year 1997. Reading her chambers at Messrs Ho & Rakan Rakan and was called to Malaysian Bar in Shah Alam, Selangor in year 2002, where she gained her exposure in handling legal documentation, attending client, meetings with various level department from the developer’s office, Stamp Duty Office and Land Office up to the arrangement of the financial back-up. She has a strong track record working with foreign and local multinational companies to apply her legal knowledge and her experience includes advising, drafting and negotiating commercial document including documents in respect of transactions or business activities in financial, food & beverage, automotive and education sectors. Her non-contentious service also includes advising, negotiating, reviewing and drafting of agreement in the fields of licensing, franchising, entertainment, media, and advertising.
Ms. LEE PEI LENG

Ms. LEE PEI LENG graduated in year 2012 from the NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MALAYSIA (UKM) and holds an honors degree in law (LLB Hons). She chambered and completed her pupilage with MESSRS ΤΕΕ ΤΑΙ ΤΖΙΑΝ & SIM in the Chambers of Mr. Tee Tai Tzian where she was exposed to general litigation, conveyancing, commercial, banking matters and etc. She was then subsequently admitted as a member of the Malaysian Bar in Kuala Lumpur in July, 2013. She then continued her legal practice in the same firm, MESSRS ΤΕΕ ΤΑΙ ΤΖΙΑΝ & SIM where she had been further exposed to full court proceedings from hearings to full trials and gained expertise and experience in general litigation [which covers commercial law, contractual disputes, debt recovery, land acquisition, personal and corporate insolvency matters], family matters, inheritance matters and etc. as well as conveyancing matters. Under the guidance of Mr. Tee Tai Tzian, she had the exposure of meeting clients, understanding their industries, identifying issues, strategizing and proposing the most appropriate legal solutions and alternatives to meet the clients’ expectation and needs. She had as well engaged in meetings, negotiations, advising and proposing legal options, drafting of Sale and Purchase, and various commercial contracts. She was also familiar and well versed with mortgage and corporate loan transactions for most of the banking and financial institution. In Nov 2015, she joined MESSRS THANG & THAY as a Partner to manage and operate their branch office at Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya. With her lead, the branch office had garnered extensive clientele and had also obtained panel ships in many development companies, inter alia SUNSURIA BERHAD (8235-K) in the township development in Putrajaya South, Salak Tinggi called Sunsuria City known as SUNSURIA CITY. She had also obtained panel ships in most of the major financial institutions for the branch office. She had not only played the role as the only Managing Partner in the said branch office but also continued her area of practice in the said branch. Eventually, she decided to expand her expertise to another level and decided to leave the partnership with MESSRS THANG & THAY after 3 years of establishment of the said branch office. In January 2019, she joined MESSRS TING & TING to further pursue and develop her area of practice as MESSRS TING & TING is a firm which she believed that her objectives (of further expand and develop her area of practice) can be fulfilled.
En. Mohd Ezahim Bin Mazlan
LLB (Hons) Universiti Teknologi Mara
EN. MOHD EZAHIM BIN MAZLAN graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi Mara in 2018. Upon graduating, Ezahim commenced his pupillage with Messrs. Ting & Ting in the chambers of Ms Ting Thien Ngiik, and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in year 2020. From the outset Ezahim showed an aptitude for corporate and commercial work. He has assisted numerous clients with the issuance, transfer and allotment of shares, winding up companies, preparing statutory documents and complying with requirements laid down by the Companies Commission of Malaysia and the Malaysian Companies Act 2016. He also attends to general conveyancing matters of the firm and excels at drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements, tenancy agreements, disposal and charges of properties. Ezahim also advises clients on and drafts financing documents for both conventional and Islamic banks. Aside from corporate commercial and conveyancing matters, Ezahim assists in the firm’s litigation practice. His experience ranges from both contentious and non-contentious matters including debt recovery, general civil defense, bankruptcy, winding up, divorce, probate and letter of administration.
Ms. Umairah Sorfina Binti Mohd Fakhri

UMAIRAH SORFINA BINTI MOHD FAKHRI graduated from the MARA University of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). She underwent her pupilage in Messrs Ting & Ting under the guidance of Dato’ Magaret Ting Thien Hung and was subsequently admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2023. Since her pupillage, she was assigned to assist in general civil litigation matters such as bankruptcy proceedings, filing of proof of debt, joint or unilateral divorce petition, petition for Grant of Probate, petition for Grant of Letters of Administration, Distribution Order, drafting and advising on Wills, Small Estate Distribution applications, claims for goods sold and delivered to name a few. She also handled conveyancing matters. Subsequently, she managed to assist in all sorts of conveyancing practices including assisting with the preparation and review of Sales and Purchase agreements, Joint Venture agreements over real estate, Tenancy agreements of commercial complexes, handling sub-sale transactions, Transfer of ownership in land, Transfer of properties between family members, Deed of Receipt and Reassignments, Discharge of Charge, Commercial and Corporate loan, Perfection of transfer, Perfection of charge, and various others. She is also involved in some renowned development projects located in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Simultaneously, she can also attend to both Conventional and Islamic banking transactions in documentation services from preparation of loan documentations to disbursements of loan facilities.
Ms. Ainur Fitri Binti Ikhwan

Ms Ainur Fitri Binti Ikhwan graduated from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2022 and holding an honours degree in Bachelor of Laws (Hons). Reading her chambers and completed her pupilage at Messrs Ting & Ting and was subsequently admitted as a member of the Malaysia Bar in Kuala Lumpur in November 2023. Since then, she started her journey in legal practice in the same firm, Messrs Ting & Ting. She is well verse in all sorts of conveyancing practice including sale and sub-sale of properties, land dealing, commercial and corporate loan, perfection of transfer and charge, and preparation of tenancy agreements. Furthermore, she also assisted in matrimonial proceedings, Will and trust, estate administration and commercial disputes. At the same time, she has been assigned to handle loans from following banks such as Alliance Bank (Malaysia) Berhad / Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad / CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad / Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad / Maybank Islamic Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Berhad, and United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad.
Ms. CHENG XI JIA

Ms. Cheng Xi Jia graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She began her legal career with Messrs Ting & Ting, where she underwent her pupillage and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur on the 1st of November 2024. Following her admission, she embarked on her journey in legal practice with Messrs Ting & Ting, focusing on the conveyancing matters. With a foundation in the legal procedures of property transactions, she has gained valuable experience in handling sub sale cases, attending the signing of Sales and Purchase Agreements, facilitating the execution of Loan Agreements and drafting tenancy agreements. In addition to her conveyancing expertise, she has been assigned to litigation matters, including drafting letters of demand, managing matrimonial proceedings and assisting with estate administration. She is dedicated to ensuring seamless property transactions for her clients, combining meticulous attention to detail with a client-centered approach.
Ms. MUM PEI SHAN

Ms. Mum Pei Shan graduated from the University of Leicester with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She completed her pupillage with Messrs Ting & Ting under the guidance of Ms. Ti Win Nie and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in February 2025. Since her pupillage, she has specialized in conveyancing law, with significant experience in drafting and reviewing Sale and Purchase Agreements, handling sub-sale transactions, and preparing loan documentation. She is well-versed in matters involving the Perfection of Transfer and Perfection of Charge, Discharge of Charge, Deed of Receipt and Reassignment, and transfers through Probate or Letters of Administration. In addition to her conveyancing practice, she has assisted in various general litigation matters, including petitions for the Grant of Probate, Letters of Administration, Order for Sale, and Divorce petitions. She has also contributed to the drafting of wills and the preparation of Letters of Demand.
Ms. Komati A/P Ramalingam

Ms. Komati A/P Ramalingam graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Multimedia University in December 2024. She underwent her pupillage at Messrs Ting & Ting under the distinguished guidance of Dato Ting Thien Hung where she developed a high standard of legal excellence and professional ethics. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 28th Nov 2025 and has since been a vital member of the legal team at Messrs Ting & Ting.
Her practice encompasses both conveyancing and litigation matters. In conveyancing, she is involved in handling project and sub-sale transactions, including the preparation and review of Sale and Purchase Agreements, Conventional and Islamic Loan documentation, and drafting Tenancy Agreements. She is well-versed in the matters involving of Perfection of Transfer and Charge, Discharge of Charge, Deed of Receipt and Reassignment and complex land administrative processes, including the Surrender and Re-alienation of Titles under the National Land Code
In addition to her conveyancing practice, she has exposure to Litigation and Estate Administration. Her experience includes the drafting of Letters of Demand, Preparation of Wills, and assisting in Probate and Estate Administration matters. Ms. Komati is known for her conversational and client-centered approach, she is ensuring that every transaction and court matter is handled with meticulous detail and professional care.
Mr. JONATHAN LAU KOH KIE

Mr. Jonathan Lau Koh Kie graduated from the University of Reading with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). He commenced his pupillage with Messrs Ting & Ting under the guidance of Dato’ Magaret Ting and was subsequently admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur on 23rd April 2026.
Following his admission, he was retained and embarked on his journey in legal practice with Messrs Ting & Ting. He specializes mostly in conveyancing matters, with an aptitude for handling sub-sale transactions, often drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements and tenancy agreements.
Furthermore, he also assists with matters relating to matrimonial proceedings, the drafting of wills and trusts, and estate administration. Aside from conveyancing matters, Jonathan also handles corporate and commercial work, assisting with issuance, transfer and allotment of shares.
